It's as simple as picking up a piece of garbage at the park or mowing the lawn of an elderly neighbor. It could be donating time to read to a child or volunteering at a homeless shelter … or even buying a cup of coffee for the person in line behind you. Small gestures make big impacts on the people and the world around you. One small gesture can change and brighten someone's day!

 

What started out as random acts of kindness leading up to my birthday one year, has turned into a year-long effort to support my community and beyond! So, for going on 10 years now for my birthday I do a Day of Service and raise funds, complete projects and collect needed items for a non profit organization(s) in the community...but, it does not stop there! We support individuals and non profits to promote their needs, events, and volunteer efforts all year long!
